Classes take place in a number of buildings in the centre of Chios city:
- Michaleio Building, Michalon 8, with two classrooms on the ground floor and the computing centres 📍
- Amphitheater, Μιχάλων 8 📍
- Karradeios School (Christou Mantika 13) with one classroom 📍
- Korai 2A, next to the Central Library of Chios "Korais" with two classrooms ("A" and "B") 📍
- Kountouriotou 22 with two classrooms ("A" and "B") 📍
- Kountouriotou 45 with a physics lab on the ground floor 📍
Department offices
The department administration and staff offices are situated in two buildings in the centre of Chios, Kountouriotou 41 📍 and Kountouriotou 45 📍.
Student housing
The student residences are in the north of the city as shown in the map below 📍.
Buses and taxis
There are regular buses from the urban KTEL Chios station with routes every 20-30 minutes, from about 6 a.m. to about 8 p.m. Furthermore, the University offers bus rides (free for students) between the residences and the city, every hour and a half, between about 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Taxis from the city centre cost about 5 euros.
Travel to and from Chios
Chios is connected with daily boats to Piraeus and Mitilini, with additional routes to Thessaloniki, Cyclades, Dodecanese and other islands. There are 3-4 daily flights to Athens and regular flights to Thessaloniki and other destinations.
Accessibility
Accessibility is provided to all classrooms and labs, as well as all the main administrative services. There are no specific travel accessibility arrangements, but the Chios Association of People with Disabilities may provide specialized transport (tel. 22710-24194).
